We are a dedicated Commercial Real Estate Company focussing on Commercial Sales, Commercial Property Management, Commercial Leasing and Business Broking.

I am really excited about the possibilities of this fascinating industry and have confidence in the market in Tasmania.

Well 2011 and a new adventure awaits! Tomorrow 1 March officially marks the launch of my latest project with business partner Candice Gillies - Tasmania's newest dedicated Commercial Real Estate Company NAI Harcourts.

Fun and freedom, planning to enjoy

Today I start the day as the newest and possibly most excited business broker in Launceston, Tasmania.

I have set myself three goals to ensure I keep on track in April. In the 16 days left for this memorable month I will;

directly contact 200 people in my local business network to let them know what I am up to,
prepare the forms and checklists necessary to ensure I deliver the best possible service standards to all my clients and customers, and
survey 100 business owners who have sold or purchased a business in the past 7 years to find out a) how they found out about the broker and/or business they transacted, b) what went well and not so well for them and c) if they intend to buy or sell another business in the next 12months.

I have also made three predictions for April. I predict that before the end of the month I will;

list 5 businesses,
sign 2 contracts, and
receive an additional 10 network generated leads.

Further to these work specific goals for April I will stay grounded by;

playing with my family in the afternoons and on weekends,
attending 2 yoga classes, and
6 sessions with my personal trainer, and
enjoying half an hour each day to just be alone with me.

Life is an amazing opportunity

just because something seems scary at first doesn't mean it's not a risk worth taking. So many things can impact on how we think and feel about something and most times - what we are thinking isn't even real! Three things I do when I start to freeze up - take a big deep breath, walk for a minute and think of something I love doing - ask myself what's the worse thing that could possibly happen if I take the next step - then I jump!
